Description
This is a copy of the LP A Love Supreme by John Coltrane, first pressing UK issue from 1965 on His Master's Voice CLP 1869.
The stamped matrix no.s are A 77 A - 1G and A 77 B - 1G with MT tax code next to the spindle hole on Side Two.
The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition with some very faint hair / handling lines. The sort of marks that would appear if left briefly, unprotected, on top of a carpet. The record plays loud and clear with just occasional faint background noise in the quietest spots. The labels have no stains, writing, stickers or scuffs. There is just one spindle line on Side Two and one or two faint fingerprints on each side.
The front-laminated flipback cover is in Excellent condition. There are no stickers, tears, tape, splits, shelf wear, ring wear or writing. There is a little age discolouration to the flipback seams and a small BFBS, Germany record library ink stamp on the back. The cardboard feels crisp and fresh and the spine is perfect.
The original printed HMV company, advertising, poly-lined paper inner sleeve has a few handling creases and faint ageing / browning to the edges.
