John Coltrane - A Love Supreme LP. Original Mono US Pressing, Impulse! Records, A-77, 1965.
Orange center labels, "Van Gelder" stamped in blank end space on both sides. Heavy, sturdy vinyl.
Beautiful copy of this amazing, classic album.
The vinyl has some light scuffs but sounds great. Solid VG+. There is a small scratch at the beginning of side B, and a verrry slight warp that you can see while side A is playing. On side B you don't see it at all. On my turntable both sides played straight through with no issue whatsoever. I'm hesitant to call it higher than a VG+ because of the warp but it really is pretty minimal as far as warps go. Surface noise is minimal, even during the softer bass solos. During the brighter sax parts there is a very slight scratchiness but nothing too major. Some of the grooves have slight play wear but nothing crazy. On the vinyl are some smudges and fingerprints that I didn't clean because I don't have professional cleaning equipment and didn't want to damage anything. The center labels look great. In the pictures they look to be different shades of orange but they aren't, they look exactly the same in person.
The sleeve looks amazing and has some light scuffs that aren't majorly noticeable. No seam splits. The gatefold has a little yellowing and scuffing but also nothing major. I'd call the sleeve an EX.
