Description
Giant Steps, an astonishing tenor-saxophone improvisation Coltrane recorded in 1959, has been a model for aspiring sax players ever since, but it's far more than a technical exercise, pointing the way toward the lava-flows of scales and runs that the critic Ira Gitler famously described as "sheets of sound". This is the second pressing dg bullseye. (first edition on black/green labels and very rare as is this). VG with scuffs and one small scratch on side 2, several scuffs and a couple scratches on side 1. However, this plays excellent, no crackle, strong sound throughout other than between songs and in very quiet parts where you can hear some clicks, etc. due to the volume of albums I will be selling this is, all sales final, but guaranteed to be as described. please email with any questions.
