Description
SUPER RARE - record company "Preview Copy" stamped in red ink on the back of the jacket.
Not only is this a MONO first pressing- but it actually pre-dates the actual 1st pressings since the record companies pressed the promos and preview pressings before the 1st pressings that were distributed to the retail outlets.

RVG stands for legendary engineer Rudy Van Gelder - stamped on both sides This copy has Bergenfield fireworks label and has deep groove on side B only.
The vinyl is a strong VG+ that plays more like a VG++ with very little noise. There is some minor crackle but for the most part this record plays excellently. Side one visually, is cleaner than side two. Side one has some very minor hairlines and scuffs - but overall it appears clean. Side two has a couple of surface hairlines that are visible, but despite that it plays clean with some minor crackle.
When playing side one the vinyl rests flat on the turntable. When playing side two there is a slight warble that doesn't effect play at all.
The jacket is VG+ with a little bend to it but good gloss and not tears or seam splits.
