Description
Title: Soultrane - John Coltrane with Red Garland,Paul Chambers, Art Taylor - Prestige 7142 - Deep Groove Mono Recording.
Condition:
Cover is Mint - ; The well constructed laminated cover is in excellent shape with only fault being is slight dirt due to shelf wear.The back cover is very clean and there are the following words written: the name of the previous owner written on the bottom right side (2.5 x 1/4 inches) and the words "TAPE" 1/2 x 1/4 inches).See picture.
Record is Mint - ; There is a surface mark with no impact on the sound at all and a few inaudible sleeve marks. Otherwise the thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless.
The record fidelity is superb with no ticks pops or background noise inherent to the pressing.
The label is a yellow label with the Bergenfield address. This original deep groove US mono recording with RVG stamped on the dead vax.
As for the musicians: John Coltrane tenor sax; Red Garland piano; Paul Chambers bass; Art Taylor drums.
