Description

this is the original AmPar Van Gelder-stamped mono promo copy of John Coltrane “Coltrane” on the coated white labels of Impulse A-21.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster; inaudible storage splotching on the first track of both sides.  The laminated gatefold cover is in virtually new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners, unworn seams, and the original blue centerfold.  Original Impulse inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones.  $200.00.
