THIS IS NOT A RECENT 180 GRAM RELEASE OR RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1987!
THERE IS A CUT OUT CLIP IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE FRONT COVER.
PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING OR MAKING AN OFFER.
THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING LP THAT IS STILL FACTORY SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. THE ORIGINAL PRICE STICKER IS STILL AFFIXED TO THE FRONT OF THE SHRINK WRAP. (please see pics).Good luck finding this gatefold cover that is still sealed in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with the ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER as most people would tear off the shrink to see the inside of the gatefold. This cover is in WXCELLENT condition as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years!

Up for sale is one(1) John Cougar Mellencamp - The Lonesome Jubilee LP from 1987 on Mercury Records (#832 465-1 Q-1).I OBTAINED THIS LP SOMETIME IN THE LATE 1980s AND I NEVER OPENED IT.
THIS LP IS GETTING HARDER TO FIND AS VINYL WAS BEING PHASED OUT FOR THE COMING CD AGE.
The cover is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, small dings and ring wear all of which are typical. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE!
I AM GRADING THE COVER AS EXCELLENT INSTEAD OF MINT BECAUSE OF THE CUT-OUT CLIP.
The original price sticker is still affixed on the front cover of the shrink wrap. It may come off with a little elbow grease but I'm leaviing it as-is.
The shrink wrap has typical wear from age, including, but not limited to small tears and scrapes on the shrink wrap all of which are typical. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE!
The vinyl and inner sleeve are assumed to be mint as this is still factory sealed and untouched by human hands.
The Hype Sticker is in VERY GOOD+ CONDITION with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to fading, scrapes, smudges, etc...all of which are typical.I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
