An original 45 RPM 7" single US release,  
titled :  Thingumybob, written by McCartney & Lennon, -c/w- Yellow Submarine, written by Lennon & McCartney. Produced by Paul McCartney. Next to the Apple bottom cored end stem section is stated in very small print. "Mfg By Apple Records". In the Dead Wax / Trail-Off it states: Thingumybob : 45-46415-F-1, and next to these numbers, are more numbers which have been scratched out, 45-70314-F-1, and not scratched out is the number '2' which is stamped into the deadwax. Yellow Submarine : 45-46414-F-1, and next to these numbers, are more numbers which have been scratched out, 45-70315-F-1, and not scratche out is an 'asterisk' looking symbol/image, which is stamped into the deadwax.
Contained in the Beatles' Apple Records paper sleeve.
CONDITION: The single is bright, shiny, clean on both sides: The Yellow Submarine side looks in Near Mint Condition, but is being listed in Very Good or better Condition, no scratches, no surface marks except for slight marks at the lip into beginning grooves, with secondary sounds. The Thingumybob side looks in Excellent or better Condition, but being listed in Very Good or better Condition, no scratches except for light surface scratches in the deadwax, with secondary surface  sounds.  The label is in Mint- Condition.

About Gradings: The Gradings System is: Mint, Mint-, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good. Fair.
Condition Distractions If Mentioned:
Surface Scratches, if mentioned, are light on top of the grooves somewhat like surface scuffs/surface marks that do not affect the sound, with the record playing loud and clear.
Light Scratches, essentially on or slightly into the grooves, not affecting play, with possible in and on groove sounds, possible secondary low lor barely there ticks from previous play, which will be mentioned in Condition/Grading above.
Near / At the Groove Scratches, when mentioned,  more than light scratches, possible in the groove and on the groove sounds, no skipping, may cause secondary sounds under the music or some light in the music ticks, plays loud and clear.. Distractions will be noted in the Condition/Grading in the description above.

For best listening results upon purchase, it's best to play a Mono record in the Mono mode, and a Stereo recording in the Stereo mode. Don't forget to pop that Mono/Stereo button. 
Record playback quality will be influenced by type and age of your turntable, cartridge and tracking force used.

A note of interest about vintage record pressings in general. 
Many of the records offered are from 30 to 50 years old. They are are not digital downloads. 
Every single plays differently on each different turntable. Some records come with their own inherent pressing oddities, slight sounds, and to the modern ear, possible "slight flaws" - which are not really flaws, but part of the pressing process of older, real vinyl / wax / plastic records. 
Some turntables / tone arm weight bring out under the music groove sounds, others may not bring out under the music sounds, or may be heard to a lesser degree. 
In some instances, just plain age can cause some slight noises in a record. 
Some pressings of small labels from the 1950's and 1960's and some instances 70's pressings were made with not the greatest of ingredients,  and with these lower grade or inferior ingredients causing some under the music groove sound - this generally happened with small label pressings, yet the music is clear, loud, and present. Also, depending on the label, some of these smaller label pressings were pressed at cheapie pressing plants or at a big plant,  but on the sly late at night without the quality control of the normal commissioned pressing. 
There may be slight tape hissing audible, which can be part of the recording/pressing - as per example, on some early Motown records.
