Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of “Jenkins, Jordan, and Timmons” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz 8232. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; a single hairline on the first track of Side A makes four low-level tics. The laminated cover is bright and clean throughout; 1 ½” clean break at the center of the bottom seam; 1/8” wear at the lower right corner; the back slick is inscribed at the top left corner: “Best Wishes, Fred. John Jenkins”; “Starks” in marker at the bottom of the left edge: small writing at the bottom. Personnel include Wilbur Ware and Dannie Richmond. $1000.00.
