Description
NOTE: It is difficult to get a good photo due to reflections of the camera flash off of the shrinkwrap. Any white lines and/or glare are not part of the album. Both cover and vinyl are in Near Mint condition.
John Lennon – Imagine Produced by Lennon, Yoko Ono & Phil Spector
1971 – USA – Apple Records – Stereo – SW 3379
Includes:
- Original inner sleeve with song info and lyrics
- Poster (of Lennon playing piano in the studio) made of heavier weight matte paper and not glossy poster paper. Poster has never been opened.
- Postcard of Lennon wrestling a pig (a jab at Paul McCartney which had a picture of Paul wrestling a sheep on the cover of his album RAM). Apparently, there is supposed to be 2 postcards but the one depicting Lennon as Pan playing his flute is missing. Of course, if I find the postcard prior to shipping the LP to the winning bidder, I will include it.
Original 1971 release. There was a repressing in 1975 but that version added an “All Rights reserved…” statement to the bottom of the label. The only reason this album is not listed as MINT is because it has been opened and most likely played although you wouldn’t know from looking at it.
****Since there are too many variables that can affect sound quality (needle quality & age, tone arm weight etc) vinyl grading is typically a visual analysis. If an LP has an obvious, possibly questionable mark (scuff, scratch etc) then we will listen to the songs that could be compromised and list any problems if they occur.
VINYL: Near Mint condition. Though unlikely, appears to have never been played. Vinyl and label are spotless.
COVER/JACKET: Near Mint with original shrinkwrap. NO ring wear, anything that may appear as ring wear in the photo is on the shrinkwrap and NOT the cover itself.
Album will be shipped in standard corrugated cardboard LP mailer. New York residents add 8% sales tax

Please note: I make every attempt to accurately describe each LP, pointing out any flaws or damage beyond that of normal wear. Please keep in mind that many of these albums are 40+ years in age and come from a time before ANYONE thought about preserving items for future resale value. They have been played and enjoyed and may show such signs.
