2 LP FOC with closed gatefold flap
US-Pressung von John und Yokos brachialem 1972er Protest-Album Some Time In New York City. Die zweite LP "Live Jam" beinhaltet den London Lyceum-Auftritt von Weihnachten 1969 mit George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, Klaus Voormann und vielen Mitstreitern und Freunden, sowie das 1971er Konzert mit Frank Zappa und den Mothers im Fillmore (geniale Version von King Kong!). Die Live-LP war ursprünglich als separates Album gemeint, steckte aber bei der Original-Veröffentilchung mit im Klappcover. Diese Pressung aus den 70ern hat tatsächlich "nur" ein Klappcover (die linke Lasche lässt sich nicht öffnen), die Live-LP bleibt also draußen.
Capitol SVBB 3392, mit den original bedruckten Innenhüllen
LPs sind in tadellosem Zustand, keine Kratzer oder Wischer, kein Knistern. Die Hülle und Innenhüllen sehen noch gut aus, aber haben ein paar Flecken, das Cover ist oben etwas angestoßen (s. Photos!)
US pressing of John and Yokos powerful 1972 protest album Some Time In New York City. The second LP "Live Jam" contains the London Lyceum concert from christmas 1969, featuring George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, Klaus Voormann and many colleagues and friends, as well as the 1971 concert with Frank Zappa and his Mothers at the Fillmore. It was initially meant as a free companion album to the studio LP, but was in fact distributed in the same gatefold sleeve like a double LP. This 70s US pressing has indeed a "normal" gatefold cover (the left flap doesn't open), so the live LP stays outside of the cover.
Capitol SVBB 3392, comes with original custom printed inner sleeves.
LPs are in flawless condition, no marks or crackle at all. The sleeve and inners look good, but have a few stains, the sleeve has some top seam wear. (see pics!) Side 1:
