This listing is for a 2nd pressing of the iconic debut album from John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band. Truly one of the greatest albums of all time, and showcases John's emotional artistry at it's purest and heartbreaking best right from the opening heart wrenching ode to his late Mother.
This pressing is identical to the original pressing apart from a change to the owners of the copyright.

All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Lovely condition especially after 40 years. There are few whisper lines and light scratches but nothing deep or offensive. Nice glossy finish to both sides. Labels are in great condition with no damage or pen marks, just the expected spindle marks under a bright light.
Record Audio - G There is considerable surface noise throughout especially in between tracks and on quieter moments. I believe there is some dust or grime deep in the grooves as the surface of the record is very clean. I would hope a machine clean would restore the audio back to it's best but I of course cannot gurantee that, and so I have priced accordingly. Some tracks are better than others, louder tracks such as I Found Out sound great and easily VG+ so I that again leads me to believe that this is dirt rather than damage.
Record Sleeve - VG+ Again really nice condition for the age of the record, just light shelf wear to the corners. Edges and spine are in great condition with fully legible titles. There is some mild ring wear on the front cover when held under a bright light along with a couple of identation marks. There are no other damage or pen marks and overall a very well looked after piece of musical history.
All questions answered and offers considered. Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear. I work full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
