JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'UNFINISHED MUSIC No.2 - LIFE WITH THE LIONS'
This earliest possible 1st pressing of John & Yoko's 2nd experimental album is on Apple's 'Zapple' label: ZAPPLE 02

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text which exists on the earliest copies only. EMI removed this from all their product as this album was being released in May 1969

Unusual to find a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label

Matrix numbers: ZAPPLE 01 A 1 & ZAPPLE 01 B 1

Earliest possible stamper codes: 1/G & 1/G

Vinyl weight: 129g

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, together with original printed inner-sleeve.

Labels: NEAR MINT

A clean & unworn pair bearing just 2/3 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT -

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & retain all of their factory shine with just a few small surface marks and hairlines visible in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp adds only some wispy paper-type marks & a sparkling rainbow shine.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT<="" b="">

Played just a handful of times on quality equipment, the entire albums plays cleanly & clearly throughout. Apart from some light clicks on the opening track on side 2, there are no further audible faults or wear.

Cover: VERY GOOD

Clean & glossy but with moderate handling & storagewear consistent with age. There are noticeable storage marks on both panels along with right corner wear and some feathering to the opening edges. There is also a 3cm upper seam stress but the spine is fully worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Flat & uncreased with a light disc impression but no writing, tears or seams splits.
