Even today I still can't make my mind up about Lennon! Brilliant, miles ahead of his time and yet a distinctively average 50's rock 'n' roller? I don't know but he stick his neck out with this one, you have to admire the guy.

Mega confusion on the releases of this LP not helped by the fact that it was cleverly bootlegged and there are possibly more bootlegs out there than originals. The giveaway is the white circular adhesive sticker used to seal the brown paper sleeve, the bootlegs did not have one, this does. For you respectable Beatle aficionados the detail is as such...

Side 1 matrix: T-5001-SIDe-1-1 bestway (followed by a funny squiggle and 90 degree (r) lines)

the inner sleeve is sideways opening

the paper sleeve is thin and brittle with a little sticker damage
