For UK auction only is a bundle of four 12" vinyl LPs relating to John Lennon/Yoko Ono around the time of The Beatles split and the few years after.  All from my own personal collection.  Two were bought new by me, and two - Elephants Memory and Some Time in New York City I believe I bought 2nd hand from a friend.  I started collecting Beatles and Beatles solo vinyl around the mid to late 1970's (not 60's) so some that were bought new would possibly have been re-issues/imports. These items would compliment anyone's Beatles or John Lennon collection.  My records were always well looked after and stored correctly, for many recent years stored in "Really Useful Box" record storage crates.  More specific information on all these recordings can easily be found online.  I am NOT a record dealer, just a person of a certain age trying to clear some personal stuff.  Please see other John Lennon related stuff in other listings.
Live Peace in Toronto.  The Plastic Ono Band.  1969 Apple CORE 2001. Live album by Plastic Ono Band, recorded 1969. Not an original issue, probably bought (I think) sometime in the late 1970s.  Originally released in December 1969.  Recorded at the Toronto Rock and Roll festival, it was the first live album released by any member of the Beatles separately or together.  John and Yoko received a phone call from the festival's promoters and then assembled a band in a very short time to play at the festival, which was due to start the following day. The band included Eric Clapton. The group flew from London, and had brief unamplified rehearsals on the plane before appearing on the stage to perform several songs; one of which, "Cold Turkey" was first performed live at the festival. After returning home, Lennon mixed the album in a day. Outer sleeve is good, just a few small creases at the spine.  Inner sleeve is plain paper in excellent condition. An album that I never played often.
Some Time in New York City.  John & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band/Elephants Memory.  1972 Apple PCS7161/7162 Part studio / part live double vinyl LP by John and Yoko as Plastic Ono Band that included backing by the American rock band Elephants Memory.  Released in June 1972 in the US and in September 1972 in the UK on Apple Records it is the third album to bear Lennon's name since he left the Beatles, and his fourth with Ono. Like Lennon's previous solo albums, it was co-produced by Lennon, Ono and Phil Spector. The album's  lyrics are very politically charged, discussing political and social issues at that time.  Sleeve in very good condition, original inner sleeves excellent condition.  Vinyl looks to be in really good condition, again, I don't remember playing this album very much. Elephants Memory.  Elephants Memory.  1972 Apple Records Sapcor22 Recorded in April and May 1972, this is the band's second self-titled album, produced by John Lennon. Billboard magazine called it a "selection of good, strong unpretentious rock." It also contains various contributions by Lennon himself on guitar and vocals. This album has never been re-issued on CD.  An album again, that never got a lot of plays.   Sleeve has some damage to upper r/h corner and general wear to other corners and bottom edge. Wedding Album. John Lennon/Yoko Ono. 1969. Import. EMI Odeon EAS-8072 Box Set.  This was the third of a series of experimental albums by John & Yoko, first released in 1969.  This is not an original 1969 copy but the Japanese Import copy which I purchased myself probably late 1970s  (this may have been issued 1977-78?). The vinyl record is in excellent condition and has been played probably only once or twice. There is some minor staining to the box and contents which hopefully can be seen in the pictures.  I keep all my record collection in strong plastic sealed boxes but this box-set doesn't fit so its obviously been affected somehow.  Overall however its in very good condition for a 40+ year old item.  Aside from the gatefold sleeved album, the box set contains various inserts including: a booklet of press articles from the time; a picture of a slice of the wedding cake; a fold out poster of photos (very slight (1cm) tear to one edge); fold out of John Lennon etchings; a postcard and reproduction set of four photo-booth passport style pics.  This item would compliment anyone's Beatles or John Lennon collection.
