Description
John Mayall "Bare Wires"
This is a UK vinyl pressing on Decca SKL 4945 from 1968. It's the stereo pressing. The label are blue with silver print. The gatefold cover is glossy on front and back. The back cover has the hole at top right so you can see the blue inner sleeve. The lyrics are printed on the inside gatefold.
The band on this album is John Mayall, Chris Mercer, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Jon Hiseman, Henry Lowther, Mick Taylor , and Tony Reeves.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M
The gatefold cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. There is super light overall wear. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a UK plastic lined inner sleeve.
The songs are : Bare Wires, Where Did I Belong, Start Walking, Open A New Door, Fire, I Know You, Look In The Mirror, I'm A Stranger, No Reply, Hartley Quits, Killing Time, She's Too Young, and Sandy.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 6 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 22 ounces ( 1 pound, 6 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
