JOHN MAYALL/ BLUES BREAKERS with ERIC CLAPTON ( VERY-RARE 1966 UK 1st PRESS MONO ISSUE OF THIS 2nd ALBUM, ORIGINALLY THIS WAS SET TO BE A LIVE ALBUM ( LIKE THE FIRST ALBUM ) THIS WAS TO CAPTURE THE SOUND OF ERIC CLAPTON ON GUITAR ! BUT AS A RESULT OF A BAD RECORDING MADE AT THE ' FLAMINGO CLUB ' THE IDEA WAS SCRAPPED AND REWORKED AT THE DECCA RECORDING STUDIOS . AMAZING ALL TIME CLASSIC WITH CLAPTON'S BRILLIANCE ON GUITAR ! WHOSE PLAYING HAS INSPIRED MANY GUITARISTS TO THIS DAY.
NOT ONLY IS THIS THE VERY EARLIEST UN-BOXED ISSUE BUT IT'S COMPLETE WITH A VERY NICE REAR FLAPPED ' CLARIFOIL ' COVER .

COVER
This is the earliest flipback ' clarifoil ' issued cover which has survived extremely well ! very clean and bright example with nothing more to fault than a couple of light creases in the laminate and a small rub mark to the very white rear panel.Not often see as nice as this as most have many stains and writing present. The iconic ' Beano ' picture was Eric Claptons way of protesting to have his picture taken , hence why he was reading the childrens comic magazine. All corners , spine and rear flaps are in great condition with no wear, very clean front and back , superb example ( see-pics) EXCELLENT CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides retain a deep glossy shine without any dulling, scratches or scuffs visable ! both in daylight and under bright lighting both sides look superb with only a couple of tiny hairlines visable.No blemishes, surface marks and certainly no scuffs or scratches. Allthough this has been played it has been treated with respect. Both sides paly through with very clear and vibrant audio with no pops, skips or repeats and barely any distractions ! it has been played and can been seen more from the wear to the labels but it's still looks and sounds great well above the average condition offered (see-pics) Visualy and Audibly EXCELLENT CONDITION
LABELS
Earliest possible labels with the un-boxed Decca logo, deep groove ! in clean and bright shape NO writing, stickers etc but there are miss-aimed spindle traces and some wear around the centre holes but still presentable ( see-pics ) VERY GOOD CONDITION
INNER
Poly-lined inner sleeve, which again is in clean condition with no writing, tears etc ! just some creasing and toning from storage ! clean example ( see-pics)
