Description

This is a special.1984 box set made in England by Charley Records from the Sun Records master recordings purchased by Shelby Singleton in 1979. This box set contains 5 LP's each in its own unique inner sleeve (see scans).  All 5 LP's look to be in unplayed Mint condition with no surface markings at all. All 5 play in MINT condition as no audio defects were noted during the testing of these records. The box itself is in NM condition with just a few places where the color has been scratched off (very minor - does not detract from the overall presentation of the box).  All the corners are still intact. Inside the box is a 32 page booklet with extensive notes on Johnny's career at Sun records. The booklet is also full of historical photos of Johnny and various ads of the time. There is also a complete discography of Johnny's career at the Sun Studios. One of these box sets sold for $108 on eBay earlier this year. This copy is perfect for the serious collector - you'll never need to upgrade.
