Description
Johnny Dunn & His Band play two hot ones entitled "Ham And Eggs"
and "You Need Some Loving" on Race Series Viva-Tonal Columbia
14358-D.
Dunn is on cornet, Herb Fleming trombone, Garvin Bushell reeds,
Jelly Roll Morton piano, John Mitchell banjo, Harry Hull tuba, with
Mort Perry on drums.
Both sides were recorded in New York City on March 13, 1928.
The record is in excellent-minus (E-) condition, but the first several
grooves on both sides make some crackling, which smooths out
nicely. There are some pressure lines which make no noise. There are
a few isolated ticks on the B side.
