After putting a few of my collectable Numan pieces up last week it's time to let go of another really rare piece of vinyl this time by my favourite band of all time Joy Division. I always wanted a copy of "An ideal for living" and took the plunge a few years ago, but now my hobbies have become even more expensive and it's time to pass this beauty onto a new home.

The original release was only availble on 7" and then it was rereleased in 1978 on Anonymous Records on 12" limited to only 1,200 copies. Do not confuse this with the recent bootleg copies this is the real deal and has the correct wording on the run off grooves (JD collectors will know what it says and I am quite happy to confirm details if needed). The sleeve is in pretty good shape considering it is 30 years old! The edges are a little worn in places and there is a 1.5" split in the top, but it is limited to the edge and does not effect either the front or back cover. The vinyl has quite a lot of light surface scratches, but on visual inspection is not too bad and does not appear to have any significant scratches that are likely to effect playback (as if you are going to play this baby!)
