Description
SELLING OFF PART OF MY JOY DIVISION COLLECTION! Up for auction is: Joy Division - CLOSER - 12" Original 1981 US Factory FACTUS 6 IV - RED/GREEN TRANSLUCENT! RARE! Vinyl comes in original thick textured rough cardboard cover with original textured printed inner sleeve. Vinyl has correctly applied labels. Vinyl was played and listened to in completion prior to listing and played well with some minor surface noise and a single pop towards the end of the last track. Can possibly be removed with a good cleaning.

The vinyl for this release has several variations (hold up to a light source to see). This particular copy has a BEAUTIFUL variation of color ranging from a dark red at the center to a bluish green color on the outside. *PLEASE SEE LAST PHOTO. The colors are the result of formulations used for the original pressings. Runouts on side A and side B have a monster head etched after matrix references.

Translucency is very hard to photograph and had to be done outside quickly in the direct sun. Outer sleeve is graded as VG+ and has only very minor wear. Still nice and crisp. Inner sleeve is clean with only minor staining/creasing. Vinyl has been visually graded as VG. Please see photos for more details. I can send more photos via message on here if anyone is interested.
Record will be packaged properly with the vinyl in a generic paper sleeve and packaged separately from the original sleeves in a corrugated cardboard record mailer.
