Rare Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1965 on the Deep Groove Orange and Black CBS label. Cat: BP233263. This album is in MONO.Over the next few weeks I will be listing some wonderful Jazz titles from a recently acquired Jazz collection. The original owner passed away back in 1985 and his sister decided to hold onto them for sentimental reasons. She had not touched or played them since then (1985!!). The records are in stunning condition for their age many, apart from a few light age spots on the covers, look like they walked off the shelf yesterday. I hope you enjoy viewing and possibly purchasing these wonderful jazz vinyl artifacts as much as i have in preparing them for sale!!
New Zealand pianist, arranger, teacher, and composer, born October 3, 1935 in Auckland, New Zealand. She has lived and worked in Australia since the 1960s, and has been a casual lecturer at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music since the 1970s. Bailey was inducted into the Australian Jazz Hall of Fame in May 2014. During the '60s, Bailey cut her own albums as a band leader, recording two albums for CBS with producer Sven Libaek. One of those records from 1965 was called My Favourite Things. Features John Sangster - Drums, Ed Gaston - Bass, Judy bailey - Piano, Graeme Lyall - Tenor Sax & Jack Grimsly - Trombone. There are a few very faint spindle marks on labels. Record looks and sounds amazing and is graded at Near Mint. Gloss cover with back flaps has a few small light age spots and is otherwise in Near Mint condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
