 A Rare Judy Garland 1939 release of  "OVER THE RAINBOW"  we refer to the song as "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"
78 RPM... 10 inches.... Blue DECCA Records... #2672
With Victor Young and his orchestra
This is the first release of the song and was a studio recording released the same year as the film, "The Wizard of Oz".
This song was released September 1939...and this year 2014 will be the 75th anniversary of the release of the movie and song!
The flip side is "The Jitterbug" a song that was taken out of the final version of the film
"Over The Rainbow" is the Number One song on the SONGS OF THE CENTURY LIST.


This record plays and sounds Fantastic....
There are no skips or grooves in record...
Comes with plain brown paper sleeve... not the original Decca...
