Description
Vanguard VRS 9197, “Woman Blue” with Judy Roderick, vocals and guitar; from 1965. The vinyl plays at about VG++ with a bit of background sound at the start which thins out to NM on the inner tracks. The jacket is about VG+ with some lower seamwear, especially at the corners; the other seams are fine. The jacket back is basically clean with no bends, writing, or stamps – just a pricing scribble at lower right. Songs are “Someone To Tell My Troubles To”, “Born in the Country”, “Rock Me Baby”, “Walking Slow Behind You”, “Young Girl’s Dream”, Mistreated”, “Louisville Lou”, “Country Girl Blues”, “Contemporary Blues”, “Black and Blue”, “You Were On My Mind”, “Two Hoboes”, and “Woman Blue”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
