Description

Very rare deep groove with 63RD STREET ADDRESS ON LABEL. Blue Note 1530. Jutta Hipp was born in Leipzig, Germany on Feb 4 1925. Jutta was a jazz pianist who also had some success as a painter. She most worked in bebop and cool jazz. She recorded this album in 1956, the same year she played the Newport Jazz Festival. Jutta Hip died in Queens, New York on April 6 2003. John Haley "Zoot" Sims was an American jazz tenor, and soprano saxophonist. He was born in Inglewood, California. Growing up in a vaudeville family, Sims learned to play both drums and clarinet at an early age. The Cover is not in good shape at all, three of the corners are split at the seams some more than others. The cover has not been sealed since it was opened so there is some light fading, in other words it is not shiny and new. Vinyl is in VG++ condition. Sound inspection was made today and I am happy to say it has no scratches or scuffs, no cracks or blips...simply put its Beautiful. Insurannce is optional, and recomended. Please send me a message for more pictures or information. Check sellers other records on ebay... I have more great records for sale, and more to come.
