NOT ONLY WITH THE -1 -1 STAMPERS...BUT ALSO, AMAZINGLY..WITH THE INCREDIBLY RARE FIRST '1 G' MOTHER STAMPERS ON EACH SIDE...

THIS LP IS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST PRESSED BACK IN 1978- AND IT IS STUNNING CONDITION! 

THE RAREST KATE LP WE HAVE SEEN.

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLIEST 1st UK pressing WITH  the 1G STAMPERS, and stamped YAX matrix numbers (not etched like later pressings)

Stored from new this LP remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen for a very long time.

This first pressing  is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP. A couple of very feint spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle holes whatsoever.

There is barely a hint of any whisp lines and thats it-  nothing else!  

Clearly this LP set has been archived for many many years..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION. The whole LP plays stunning,. and only the lightest of lead in static can be heard and a couple of tiny light staic cracks in a few places..posibly this would not sound on further plays as this has ben stored for a very long time, a couple of little dust flecs on the vinyl- a professional clean and wow! this should be back to new!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     EX   ORIGINAL FIRST SLEEVE

Correct  UK  gatefold MATT SLEEVE  first issued earliest sleeve with wide SQUARE SPINE & GOLD FOILED EMBOSSED LETTERING  -by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE.

TO BE TOTALLY HONEST, THIS SLEEVE IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE VINYL WITHIN, BUT AS IT IS THE CORRECT SLEEVE FOR THIS AMAZING RECORD WE DID NOT WANT TO SPOIL THE 'HISTORY' OF IT BY TRYING TO FIND ANOTHER SLEEVE TO REPLACE THIS ONE..IN OUR OPINION A RECORD LIKE THIS HAS TO BE AS IT WAS BACK IN THE DAY..AND WHILST NOT A MINT SLEEVE IT IS TILL VERY VERY PRESENTABLE!

The edges are all clean with some light traces of rub,  all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note.

THERE IS SOME TIP RUB AND A FEW SPIDER LINES OVER THE SPINE, AND A FEW DULL SPOTS ON THE SEAMS.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with minimal handling.

The spine edge is faded slightly (so many did!)  -some spots of rub along the way.

the gatefold opening is superb, and clean like new -a couplwe of tiny spots of discolour on the bottom centre.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS  A CRACKER, AND WITH 'THAT' VINYL? WOW! AS KATE WOULD  SAY!

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT-

RARE ORIGINAL TEXTURED BUFF PRINTED INNER. PRINTED WITH EMA787 ON TOP RIGHT AND THUMB SCOOP IS RAZOR SHARP -NO WEAR OR SCISSORING
