ORIGINAL UK EARLIEST 1ST PRESS FROM 1970 ON THE ORIGINAL B&C, very collectable RECORDS LABEL! In the vein of Nick Drake or Incredible String Band. Indeed Keith was helped out by members of Mighty Baby. This is a record that is not often seen and surely the rarest one for this still gigging incredible artist.

Keith Peter Christmas (born 13 October 1946, Wivenhoe, near Colchester, Essex, England) is an English singer and songwriter. In 1969, his first album, Stimulus, was released. Christmas played acoustic guitar on David Bowie's Space Oddity album, and appeared at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970.

Through the 1970s he released four more albums, Fable Of The Wings, Pigmy, Brighter Day and Stories From The Human Zoo, while touring with and supporting bands such as The Who, King Crimson, Ten Years After, Frank Zappa, Roxy Music, Hawkwind, Captain Beefheart and The Kinks.

Among the musicians who contributed to his recordings were Mighty Baby, Pat Donaldson, Keith Tippett, Gerry Conway, Shelagh McDonald, Rod Argent, Peter Sinfield, Greg Lake, Mel Collins, Cat Stevens and Michael Boshears.

Vinyl: EX.  I'm very happy to be able to present this Keith Christmas gem in this wonderful condition. An incredibly heavy vinyl weighing in at 147 gr. The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my Rotel amp and B&W speakers.  This vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that showed that really went largely under the radar. Why ...? 

 Unbelievably it has no marks or hairlines. Just a few paper retraction traces only visible under a very strong light! Even a new vinyl would have this. The audio has beautiful separation and there is hardly ever any background noise.  I played this through in full and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was even tempted to keep this as it will be very hard to find this again, it is indeed mega rare now in this kind of condition. Needless to say NO jumps, clicks or ticks. 

 Sleeve: EX.  Fantastic looked after matt textured sleeve with beautiful rich colours and and only one light crease. There  are no marks or writing. A stunning original sleeve. The winner will be very pleased indeed!! A fully legible spine and only very light edge storage wear. No writing,  no marks, no seam splits or tears.  The album still has its original inner swirl sleeve. This is an upgrade for most folk or prog collectors.
