Description
Keith Hudson - The Joint. The Joint, US. Original Pressing. Vinyl is a strong VG++, very close to Near Mint. Only a few, barely noticeable hairlines. Cover is VG++ with a little wear from age, and a piece of clear tape on the corners. Labels are clean, with the exception of what looks to be a pencil erase mark on side 2. Barely noticeable, see picture. Tough Keith Hudson dub from the late 70's, comprised mostly of rhythms from his Rasta Communication LP, except for the track Barrabas, which is a killer version of President Shorty's Barbican Heights from 1977. This LP was released with three different covers and labels. Not positive of the order of release, but I believe this is an early New York pressing. All-time classic for sure. There's a reason it was one of the early Pressure Sounds reissues...
Bid with confidence, as I grade conservatively. I do not use the grade of Excellent. Shipping in the U.S. is $3.00 for 7"s, and $5.00 for 12"s, $1.00 for each additional record. International rates vary by location. I only charge actual shipping cost. Please disregard eBay's shipping calculator. Please wait for invoice before paying. And please check my other auctions for more roots reggae. Thanks.
Additional Tracklisting Information - Barbican Heights Dub is actually titled Highter Hights (my mistake.) Also, the labels are reversed on this pressing, and the last track, Message, is incorrectly titled. The correct title is Rub Dub. This pressing is identical to the Joint International pressing, with the same matrix number, track sequence, etc. The other pressing has a confusingly erroneous tracklisting. This pressing is all correct, with the exception of the above-mentioned. Enjoy.
