Description

About This Item: Really nice original deep groove 1st pressing of "2 Guitars" on the 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. Prestige(PRLP-7119) Records label with the RVG stamped seal of approval. The vinyl is a solid VG+ nearing an additional + but for a couple light scuffs and a superficial blemish or two we don't, and still has lots of it's sheen left to it. It sounds marvelous as we're just listening to it now. Yes, there's the occassional little click as you might expect from an LP as old as this, but overall it sounds beautiful as deep grooves are wont to. Both labels are spotless. The laminated cover is beautiful with no ring wear, no seam splitting or spine wear, just a slight crack on the upper seam, but not split. The back cover has in blue ball point pen the signature of Lower East Side guitar great Robert Quine(RIP) who owned this LP long before he became famous, otherwise this is a thing of beauty.
Musicians Include:
Donald Byrd - Trumpet
Jackie McLean - Alto Sax
Mal Waldron - Piano
Doug Watkins - Bass
Arthur Taylor - Drums

Thanks for looking and good luck!
