After having played on the film soundtrack with Miles Davis (Ascenseur pour l'échafaud), the young Barney Wilen got the chance to compose for another French thriller film that used jazz as a background (Un Témoin Dans La Ville). Wilen plays relaxed, soulful tenor and soprano, Kenny Dorham plays cool-toned trumpet, Duke Jordan is on piano, Paul Rovere on bass, and Kenny Clarke on drums round out the rhythm section.

CONDITION OF THIS RECORD :
Picture Sleeve : original thin cardboard cover, looks visually very clean, no writing, with some wear traces, but this fragile cover is still in good shape. See photos and enlarge, and don't hesitate to ask for more details or scanned views if you want !
Vinyl : original pale green labels, record still very clean, with slight scuffs and hairlines, but nothing suspect. Still a nice copy, sounds really very good, some slight noise here and there, more on the beginning of the 1st b side tune, but just listen carefully to the complete tunes to make your own idea about how it sounds, and don't hesitate for any question !!!
I don’t use the grading system, because of too many disputes and different interpretations (some say vg for vg+, some others say nm for ex, and finally, nobody really knows ! That’s why I prefer you to listen to extract, taken directly from the vinyl, and look at pictures which you can enlarge). I describe things such as they are, I try to do it the best I can, but you can ask for any question, then I’ll try to give you the answer as soon as possible ! Just look at my feedbacks ! Thank you !
