This one is the first mono pressing of Kenny Drew's TALKIN & WALKIN WITH THE KENNY DREW QUARTET.  Jazz West Records JWLP-4. This is an original issue from Jazz West Records, issued in 1956, not a reissue version.  Maroon Labels and Deep Groove on both labels.  Ver hard to find.


Kenny Drew (piano), Joe Maini (alto saxophone, tenor saxophone), Leroy Vinnegar (bass), Lawrence Marable (drums). 


The vinyl look VG+ under the bright light. Spindles marks and scratches on Side A's label. I've played test this record on my system and it plays through with no skip and stuck on both sides. The vinyl played VG+ on Side A, and NM- on Side B.    


The cover is rated VG due to tapes on both lower and upper seams. Still strong.  Some paper losses on the front cover (see picture).  Spin is OK.  Look classic.


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
