Condition : Excellent: Cover And Record in Excellent condition.

Like Anita Skorgan, Ketil Stokkan has a background as participant in The European Song Contest. This hasn't excactly helped his reputation as a serious artist... However, Ketil is an outstanding musician who has his own hard blues-rocking band called Stokkan. In 1985 Ketil Stokkan released the album "Ekte mannfolk" ( that's "Real men" in English). Even though the singing is in Norwegian, the album is very good Aor/West Coast rock, with people from LAVA guesting as session players. Produced by Svein Dag Hauge, "Ekte mannfolk" contains good melodies and lots of keyboards and guitars. This is a fine album, even though the language may be a letdown to some.The album was later released on cd, with another cover " who i would not even mention here, its so damn horrible. The record company put on one more track from the Eurovision song contest " Romeo " and they cut his hair and dress Stokkan up as he was acting in Romeo & Juliet on the front cover. But however he is back to his rocking roots these days.Hard to find album.
