Description
HERE'S the famous husband-and-wife Vaudeville team and songwriters, "COOT" GRANT & "KID WESLEY" WILSON, in two of their trenchant routines from the T. O. B. A. circuit, "KEY HOLE BLUES" and "'RASSLIN' TILL THE WAGON COMES." They put over their act splendidly on this "Race" Columbia record.
Grant and Wilson co-wrote the songs for the famous 1933 OKeh session of Bessie Smith, including "Gimme a Pigfoot," which contains the line, "We're gonna be 'rasslin' till the wagon comes." - as predicted by this record!
This original 1928 "Race" Columbia 14363-D is in beat V- condition. Considerable needle wear, but still playable.
