KHAN SPACE SHANTY
DERAM LABEL 1972 ORIGINAL UK PRESSING LP WITH GATEFOLD SLEEVE, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
SDL-R 11 STEREO
Released in 1972 on the red & white DERAM label, this is the rare and sought after original first UK STEREO pressing of this classic space prog rock album by KHAN titled "SPACE SHANTY" which features a pre Gong STEVE HILLAGE alongside Dave Stewart.
The album is in excellent condition.
COVER CONDITION - The album comes with Robert Stace gatefold sleeve which is in excellent condition, it has some minor blemishes that stop it being described as mint but it is close - very very slight scuff/wear on top/bottom corners of spine, slight bump creases on front bottom, a crease like mark in the rear cover (we think this was a manufacturing defect as the cover has not been bent/creased). These are all very minor, you have to look close and we have tried to photograph them to highlight them here., No stickers, tears or repairs
Unusually there is no shelf wear to the edges of the sleeve as it has been stored in a cardboard protector
VINYL CONDITION - The Vinyl visually looks in excellent condition.
The LABELS, The red & white DERAM labels are clean. they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc. minor marks from the spindle on one side only
The INNER, The original blue & white company inner sleeve is clean and free from any unwanted writing etc.
