Description
Seeing that they’re taking up space and I no longer have a record player, the time has come for me to sell some records that I haven’t played for 25 years or so.
All of my records were bought second-hand in the early 1980’s and, since then, have been stored upright, out of direct sunlight, and in a smoke- and pet-free home.
The thing is, when I used to buy second-hand records, I was REALLY particular about the ones I bought as scratches used to drive me up the wall.
Also, to keep them in the best condition, I used to 1) change the record-player needle regularly, and 2) tape the record the 1st or 2nd time I played it, then played the cassette to death instead of the record. In fact, the tape copies I made were so good that I never played the records afterwards and just kept them in case the tape got chewed up and I needed to make another copy, although this never actually happened.
Consequently, the records I’m selling are, for the most part, in extremely good / near-mint condition and, as far as I can remember after 25 years, have no audible clicks or scratches when played.
Payment is by PayPal only and within 1 day (24 hours) of the auction finishing so I can get it in the post to arrive by Xmas. Contact me if there's any problems.
The record will be sent in a sturdy record mailer with an internal reinforcement card for a single album (this is included in the postage).
For the ratings below, bearing in mind that these records are used, Mint = looks as new and VG = some flaws, otherwise excellent.
