Machined matrices: A^2 B//2
This is a very rare pressing on the Palm tree label with the earliest matrices possible. The vinyl is the very heavy variation and it is assumed by many experts that is the very same vinyl as used for the pink label ...? Whichever way this is a rare variation as 99% of palm tree labels carry A//3 or A//4 matrices!
Vinyl: VG+. A beautiful well looked after vinyl in really nice condition with a beautiful just pressed appearance. I have played it in full on my high end system and the audio is great without any jumps, clicks or sticks!! Just some light background static at times mainly at the start of side 1. Just a few hairlines are visible even under a strong light. Just the usual sleeve retraction traces. A total joy to listen to and ....... probably one of the last ones out there with these early matrices!
Sleeve: VG+. This is the original gatefold sleeve made of heavy card by E.J. Day Group Ltd. Amazingly there are NO creases. The edges have light storage wear. The spine has rub wear over the sharp edges but somehow is still 100% legible.. The inside gatefold is fantastic with no wear but one small written dedication. NO writing or damage.
Not mint but a very rare variation of this collectable LP.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
