Description
Having a slim down of my record collection. Here we have a rare early pressing of king crimsons debut album on the iconic island pink i label.
This is an A2 B3 pressing in excellent condition.
In terms of the record grading l, I would have no reservations in grading the vinyl as Ex plus or Ex if you were ultra picking. The record has maintained its glossy shine, runs straight and true.. and sounds exactly how an early press should sound. This has seen very little time of the turn table. I would grade the labels as Vg though as there seems to be some sort of overspill or reaction on them. Please see pictures. Doesn't detract from the beauty of the record but worth a mention.
The outer sleeve is again Ex plus, you just don't come across them in this condition. Most have worn spines and rounded edges but this one is exceptional. All the text is still sharp and clear. The edges have very minor wear. No writing or anything like that. Truly stunning. An easy Ex plus!
