KING CRIMSON  
 IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING
Island 69 A2B4 UK orig LP VG+/VG    
ILPS9111
UK orig LP with pink Island labels.

Original gatefold sleeve made by E J Day of London is VG+
with slight rubbing to spine, no sticker tears but just some general wear.

Orignal pink labels have a few spindle marks,
no writing and generally nr EX condition,

Vinyl is visually very good to very good+ condition with some
slight surface scratches noticeable under a lamp.

Album plays all the way through with no jumps or sticks.
Please note there is slightly more noticeable surface noise
on Side 2 which has some very quiet parts.
In the loud parts the surface noise is hardly noticeable but in some
of the very quiet passages it is but generally sounds pretty good.

Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new
Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve"??





the record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable fitted with a goldring stylus , listened to through full range handmade wilmslow audio transmission line speakers that have superb response and definition on all frequencies  

 For accurate grading  visual and play grade (like all my records)

this record has been professionally cleaned using an

okki nokki cleaning machine

 

( 1st clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and

finished off with L’art du son / purified water mix

 

the alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have from the manufacture stage , this hides detail in the sound

the l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness the alcohol water mix
