KING CRIMSON - "In The Court Of The Crimson King" - Island Records ILPS 9111- UK, 1969.

Nice early pressing of this hard-to-find LP, an original 1969 UK pressing with pink 'i' labels.
The gatefold 'EJ Day' sleeve and vinyl are both in very good condition. The labels look beautiful, very crisp and clean. The matrix numbers are ILPS 9111 A?2 1 4 and ILPS 9111 B//4 11 4. Definitely a rare one for anyone's collection, you won't be disappointed.
Pink Island copies of this LP are highly sought after nowadays, so don't miss out and please have a look at my other listings... COVER - An Ex++ or near mint. It is in great condition with no creases or marks. The only signs of wear are the on the corners where they are slightly worn but this cover is in immaculate condition, you could eat your dinner off it, it would ruin it but you could, it is that clean. Vinyl - Ex it has clearly been played because you can see some light spindle marks but the record is in beautiful condition, I have played the record and it sounds incredible. This really is a great specimen and whoever ends up with it in their collection is a lucky man. Sleeve - Ex++ the sleeve is in great condition. Side one No. Title Writers Length 1. Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
