KING CRIMSON ‘LIZARD’ 1970 UK FIRST PRESSING A2U/B2U, ISLAND RECORDS, THAMES TELEVISION MUSIC DEPT LP IN FRONT AND BACK LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE, E.J. DAY, GATE-FOLD SLEEVE, CAT No, ILPS-9141.
This is a first issue, A 2 U/B 2 U Stereo example of King Crimson’s UK Album release, Lizard, first released in 1970 on the Pink Rim, Palm Tree, Island Record Labels.
Both record labels are in absolutely superb Near Mint condition, beautiful bright and undamaged record labels with just a couple of light signs of play to the centre of each record label, and a small sticker on side 1.
Side 1 matrix’s, ILPS 9141 A 2 U, and Side 2, ILPS 9142 B 2 U.
Side 1 stampers, 2 G H, and Side 2, 2 R R.
Both sides of the vinyl LP are in beautiful Near Mint condition, super clean, bright vinyl surfaces to both sides.
The LP plays through both sides without faults.
There is also a Thames Television Music Library Loan Receipt.
The LP is protected in it’s original and very nice, laminated front and back, E.J. Day Gate-fold Picture sleeve. This sleeve has no damage with only a few manufacturing laminate pinches to the front and back panels and is in Excellent Plus condition. This sleeve has no seam splits, no tears, no creases and no corner damage, the spine edge and inner gate-fold centre are perfect, there are two official Thames Television Music Dept Stamps, and a small sticker on the back.
