Description
King Crimson "Lizard" LP original 1970 UK Island pink rim stereo ILPS9141 with the laminated gatefold jacket. I purchased this record in 1970 and it is from my personal collection.
The vinyl is in "NM" condition with no paper scuffs, marks or spindle wear; the matrix numbers are A2U/B2U; it has been stored in a poly lined paper sleeve since purchase.
The E.J. Day laminated gatefold jacket is also in "NM" condition with no ringwear, shelfwear or spine damage; the laminate has a few raised "lines" which is typical (see photos).
Grading is conservative and is based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
