Kinks - Face To Face LP
Pye. NSPL 18149. Pink/Black labels. Stereo. UK-66
Laminated flipback Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse cover. NSPL sticker over NPL on back.
Plain white Made In England Patent No 125.555 innner sleeve.
Matrix numbers - NSPL 18149 A-1 and B-1.
Graded cover/record Ex/VG+.
Minimal wear along opening and minimal stain along flip edges by age.
A few light spindle marks on labels.
Vinyl is heavy, shiny and fine but there are one thin scratch along A4 and three round surface marks at side B.
The record plays excellent on the whole with some exceptions of minimal background noise between some tracks and at some softer part.
There are a few crackles at very beginning of B3.
A very rare original UK export stereo copy in collectible condition.
No stereo covers were made but there was a NSPL sticker put on back of cover over the mono version NPL.
On the spine is still says NPL.
One of the best Kinks LPs with Dandy, Rainy Day In June, Fancy, Sunny Afternoon and 10 other tracks.
Produced by Shel Talmy, Arranged by Raymond and Dave Davies who wrote Party Line together.
Other tracks written by Ray Davies. Nick Hopkins plays harpsichord.
