Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc are in Perfect condition , no signs of use or wear. I have played this wonderful album through , and the Mono sound quality is absolutely faultless : Visually and Aurally MINT condition.

Label Condition:- Both labels are beautifully bright and crisp , with minimal spindle use evident : EXCELLENT+ / Near MINT condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- Both front and rear of sleeve have only very light signs of use , very crisp and clean. Just a trace of a spine rub , hardly noticable : strictly graded at EXCELLENT condition (photo below)

A really beautiful original Mono copy , complete with correct original 'rice paper' lined Liner Sleeve..............

Notes: The Kinks: Ray Davies, Dave Davies (vocals, guitar); Pete Quaife (bass); Mick Avory (drums). Having closed out their hard-rock period, the Kinks went pastoral on SOMETHING ELSE. It's an album of folk and pop songs about the quiet pleasures of family life and the English countryside, dotted with harpsichords, acoustic guitars, and ethereal harmonies. A radical rejection of the Age of Aquarius, it was one of the boldest pop albums of its time, a commercial failure but an artistic landmark. In "Two Sisters," Ray Davies sings about a wild, swinging woman and her homemaking sister, and dares to side with the latter. Other songs include "Afternoon Tea," surely the first rock song ever written on that subject, and the majestic "Waterloo Sunset," which has been described as the most beautiful song ever written in the English language.

All items carefully graded audio-visually, and are played on a high quality system.

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings , I notice many sellers on eBay using the buzzwords 'Stunning' , 'Superb' , 'Awesome' 'etc etc etc...... and have grossly long-winded descriptions by these 'experts' with sometimes technical information added , which is totally unrelated to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for for the fact that it is misleading , and tends to hide the fact that the items on offer are only Average/Very Good , substandard items..... I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records........

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice....)
