The Kinks The Village Green Preservation Society
Arguably the greatest Kinks album and possibly one of the greatest albums of the 1960s. Whatever you think the certainty is that this is one of the scarcest albums around today. At the time of listing there is only one on EBay and that's starting well over £300! I'm offering it here at the ridiculously low starting price of 99pence!
The vinyl itself is in very good condition and plays without any skips or jumps. There is a little, very little, surface crackle between tracks but that disappears when the track plays. I have just played it and it sounds very good.indeed.
The cover is not as good as it could be with some tape,very little, and a small tear on the top right. Please see my very detailed pictures for this.
The labels are very clean and bright. Check all pictures.
You will be bidding on a great album in great condition, an absolute gem and rarity. This is a real collectors item. The vinyl rarely comes up in this condition. And this is the original Pye blue label from 1968.
Put in your best bid early on this. If you forget and miss the auction end you will kick yourself!
