KISS: Love Gun (Casablanca/Victor VIP-6435) w/"Christeen Sixteen" Promo Obi


I’m listing a lot of KISS records this week, including Japanese promo LPs, "The Guitar Technique of Ace Frehley," the U.S. "Alive II" error copy, Peter Criss' "Chelsea" LP, and five versions of "Destroyer." All are from my personal collection. As a passionate collector, I grade conscientiously and cautiously.


I bought this set at a mom-and-pop record shop outside of Tokyo in 1998. It had both a first pressing w/picture spindle label and a second press w/the beige Casablanca Filmworks label in the jacket. To my knowledge, the promo obi was included on only second pressings. How it wound up on this one, who knows?
