"The Ambassador"by the KLAUS DOLDINGER QUARTET and released in 1969 on the GER Liberty label with the catnumber LBS 83 317/18 X.Both records are in beautyful NEAR MINT(M-/M--)condition,the fully laminated gatefold cover is in clean very good+(vg+stocb)shape.One LP recorded at Trixi Studio, Munich, June 19th, 1969, 2nd LP recorded live at the Domocile Jazz Club, Munich June 18th, 1969 - Klaus Doldinger (saxes, flute, keyboards) is one of the internationally best known german jazz musicians. He was born in Berlin on 12 May 1936. In 1962 he formed his first Quartet with Ingfried Hoffmann (piano), Helmut Kandelberger (bass) and Klaus Weiss (drums).This recording is very alternate and you can hear the developement into the worldjazz direction,very eastern inspired partly full of acid grooves..................
