If you grew up in Vegas in the ’80s or ’90s, this is one of the most iconic pieces of local rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia you can own.
During the 1980s, legendary Las Vegas rock station KOMP FM 92 championed the valley’s homegrown talent by producing a series of annual compilation LPs. These albums captured the raw, rising energy of the local scene — and this particular volume is considered a holy grail among collectors.
Why? Because it features early recordings from Mark Slaughter with his band Xcursion, before he joined Vinnie Vincent (KISS) and later achieved worldwide fame with Slaughter. This is a rare snapshot of Vegas rock history right before it exploded onto the national stage.

About the Seller & Condition
I worked at Tower Records, Record Gallery, and Warehouse Records in Las Vegas throughout the 1980s. As an audiophile and audio‑industry salesperson, I hand‑selected the colored vinyl, limited editions, picture discs, and original art sleeves that impressed me when they were brand new — and immediately added them to my personal collection.
These records have been properly stored in a climate‑controlled environment and rarely, if ever, played. I haven’t even owned a turntable since 2005.
