“Kroniki filmowe” invites you on a trip to an alternative dimension of Polish popular music! Soul Service DJ Team, known for excellent compilations “Polish Funk”, together with GAD Records, searched through the archives of the Studio of Documentary and Feature Films, selecting among numerous sessions twelve unique tracks. “Kroniki filmowe” offers music of a very wide range of styles: from the sound experiments of Augustyn Bloch and Mateusz ?wi?cicki, through the swinging themes of the Polish Jazz Quartet and the Bogus?aw Rudzi?ski Quintet, to the rock-funk mayhem of SBB and Waldemar Parzy?ski of Novi Singers. There are also legendary rock’n’roll line-ups (Czterech), as well as large radio ensembles (PRiTV Orchestra in Pozna? conducted by Zbigniew Górny). All this combines to form an intriguing, vibrant mosaic, pulsating with thousands of colours.
