Description
In 1980, EMI released a three edited-track promotional flexi-disc to promote Kate's third album, "Never For Ever". The flexi was pressed in black, pink and blue - with variations of either black or silver text. They also released an uncut square version. All versions shared a catalogue number (SFI 562). Some were circulated to shops, others via magazine inserts. The black versions are the most commonly found. The blue and pink variations are way more scarce, especially after 40 years.
This is the blue version with black text. Tracks are edited versions of album songs Delius, Blow Away & Egypt. All tracks run for just over one minute each. The flexi-disc is one-sided.
I've never personally played this record but I bought it used in the 80s. I don't know what wear it might have endured previously. It looks in great condition. A few finger smudges (it didn't come in a sleeve - though I will send it in a plastic/clear one) and a small bend in the outer edge (see last photos, top-part!)
Super rare and highly-desired.
