Description
This is an early thick RVG-stamped “P” or 'ear'-pressing of Kenny Burrell “Blue Lights, Volume 2” on the West 63rd St. (no Inc.) labels of Blue Note BLP 1597. The playing surface is excellent vg+, with some lite scuffs and a high luster, with one audible click in the intro on side 1; The laminated West 63rd St. cover is bright and clean throughout except for some laminate flaking along the open end and a laminate tear on the right side (see photo, upper right); botom left seam has some wear and is partially split at the corner for about an inch. Great songs, Tina Brooks, Warhol cover, a classic. Personnel include Tina Brooks, Louis Smith, Junior Cook, Duke Jordan, Sam Jones, and Art Blakey.
